    I'm doing a Nuzlocke challenge.

    The rules state that I am only allowed to catch the first Pokemon I see on each route.

    All these pokemon have been weak to grass, except Kadabra who died =(

    EDIT:Oh, I see. That would make Shedinja less valid, though it'd still be a way of bending the rules and getting one more pokemon than you can catch.

    Shedinja's obtainable in Platinum. But not in Nuzlocke, because you need the Poke radar to catch Nincada.

    Basically, by playing them during almost all of my free time.

    Also, IJBM how hard Teddiursa is to catch. Out of all of the games that are currently intercompatible, he's only in Soulsilver. WHY?!

    He is the only non-legendary I'm going to have to trade to get.

    Teddiursa is also totally awesome for leveling up your Pokemon.  Since they can have Pickup, and you can catch them at a high enough level that they can get Rare Candies with that ability (well, obviously they also could if you caught them at a lower level, but this doesn't require leveling them up after you catch them, which is nice).  So... catch a bunch of Teddiursas, and put 5 of them with Pickup in your party.  You'll get Rare Candies pretty quickly.

    Nah, I'm far from the point that I'll need a Teddiursa. It's just that I was planning out what games to pick from what generation to get as many obtainables (from the first four generations, ATM) as possible and Teddiursa is the only non-legendary I can't get that I know of.

    For the curious: Leafgreen, Heartgold, Ruby, Platinum.
