  I'm still surprised that I was made into a mod, and for that reason I hold the belief that it's a learning experience, and that even if one has little faith in one's abilities upon accepting the position, they'll eventually develop competence. I was hardly the most mature person around at the time, and it took me a while to stop being so harsh to people and grow into the job.
