Jesus christ I thought shards would fly into my eyes if I didn't catch that on time...

    I don't have any plastic dishes/cups.

The most durable ones are made of metal, which based on the color I would assume is either brass, bronze or gold. And those are only like 3/1000 of all of them or something.
  • Well, buying plastic ones is a possibility.

I guess it's probably not worth it to bother replacing them all just for this, though.
  • I'm a damn twisted person
I dunno, I've never been bothered by glasses and dishes being made of glass. I just have to remember to be careful with them and that sometimes accidents happen and I need to sweep shards up.
  • Well the main problem for me is that I have a habit of trying to not damage any belongings that aren't disposable so instead of trying to get the fuck away from something that is about to shatter as soon as possible I try to catch it or something so it stays in normal condition instead. >_>

I got paranoid of glass breaking on the ground after one time, a glass broke, and my mom thought she cleaned up all the pieces. A month later, a huge piece got stuck in the sole of my foot and I had to go to the hospital, hopping on one foot.

Main problem with plasticware is that grease is HELLA DIFFICULT to wash off of them.
  • The stuff I got when I moved out on my own is heat-safe plastic, because cleaning up from a wheelchair would be a bitch and a half, and I was living alone.
