Why do they miss the point so much? I seriously agree that they are near worthless. They trash nearly every game, except for the ones that the company paid the reviewer to do, then it's a giant ass-kiss fest. A lot of the points they trash the game for are actually pretty good, they make complaints on the most petty things possible, and they overall are so biased it's sad. Game Journalism is a cesspit these days.

    I didn't say anything about them taking the reviews as gospel. No, what bugs me about ZP fans is the very fact that they even like ZP.

    He made a point in the ZP thread (or maybe it was the Unpopular Opinions thread, I dunno) about how he hated people who complained about ZP's stupid fanbase when he could never find any fans the opposition strawmanned them into. 

    I personally have never heard of any rabid [insert object of hatred] fans, so I find their detractors to be more annoying.

    ZP is alright--I prefer the Extra Punctuation series, though, because it's his actual opinions rather than humorous exaggerations.  As for the «rabid fans», I haven't met any but I suspect they exist on the fora for the Escapist.  I have met obnoxious rabid haters of the man though.
