It's seriously just a shitty show.

Of course, given that none of you have heard of this show or are going to comment, it really doesn't matter. Hell, I could do whatever I want in this thread. I can swear and use explicit language... oh my god, I could write a short story about a woman having intercourse with a red velvet cake, and no one here would even know it existed! I can even type in a different font, one that's totally bizarre and unreadable, and no one would care! Yay! ^_^

But yeah, the show sucks.

    I actually quite enjoyed it, but ultimately felt watching it was too much effort just to feed my passionate desire for Kristen Schaal.

    Eh, people whining about it are just wankers who don't get anything that's not relentlessly obvious, like latter-day Simpsons and Family Guy. Bob's Burgers is a lot more like a traditional sitcom and less like a cartoon (Like King of the Hill), and it's also paced very differently from the rest of the Fox animation line-up.

    Superjail! is awesome. It's like playing Mortal Kombat on acid.

    Though I wouldn't know since I've never played that game or took that drug, but the analogy sounds cool.

    I actually love that show. It reminds me of the early 90s animation, with it's strange, sketchy artwork and off-beat dry humour. It's like what you'd get if you crossed Ren and Stimpy with classic Simpsons. It's great to see a creative and just slightly bizarre show, especially compared to all the animated shit that Fox shovels out now, like Zombie Simpsons or the Seth MacFarlane Circle-Jerk Extravaganza.

    I'm not sure which one is cake and which one is the shitty puke in your argument. I'll assume the latter is Ren and Stimpy though.

    Personally I'm not a big fan of the series, there was a lot of times when it was just trying to be gross as the punchline. I was referring more to that sketchy art style than writing. It's more like a somewhat more unrealistic and slightly cruder version of King of the Hill for writing, really.
