  What influence? All they have do to is send a take down notice and it happens. Because YouTube can't afford a bunch of lawyers to check whether whomever sends them a notice actually has the rights to the video they are flagging or not, so they just comply with all requests (so as to not lose their DMCA safe harbor) and provide some arcane process for the uploader to fight back if they actually care enough to do it.
