Because it's a brand and has artist recognition?
Because the headsets are so unnecessarily pricey (for what they actually do, anyway) that Doctor Dre can easily afford to advertise the brand just about everywhere you look?
Because Monster Cables figured out that you can sell hideously overpriced headphones by attaching a celebrity's name to it.
