I finally cleaned up my Pictures Folder.

891 files I deleted, 864 Megabytes are freed up on my computer. Pictures I no longer think are funny, outdated memes, scraps, files I saved to upload to Tinypic, Hotlink Banned Images with a redirect, Porn I don't find funny anymore, bad Rule 34, Hentai I no longer read, comics I quit working on, and reaction images I will never use. All gone.

Now I need to clean up my Videos Folder.

So, are you doing any spring cleaning IJBM? How much space is taken up on your computer that you aren't using?

    I didn't delete anything, but I did finally finish sorting my hentai pictures folder today. All 10,889 pictures.

    I saved around 5 gigabytes on our super duper advanced 60 gigabyte computer. Now I gotta clean up my 18 gigabyte decade old laptop and I'll be all set. :)

    My "Videos" folder alone is 172 GB.  So... yeah.

    Which, really, isn't a lot.

    I should download more stuff.

    Some of it is stuff I'm very unlikely to watch again, though (most of it is stuff I either haven't watched though, or will probably want to watch again) so I can delete it.  And about 6 GB of it is a series I also have on DVD, so I might delete it depending on the quality of the official subtitles.

    Something like 180 GB of my used space is anime.  Since it's anywhere from 200 MB to like 700 MB per episode (depending on the quality, and resolution, and other stuff).

    Also games take up a lot of space.  I have 2 installations of Fallout 3, and 4 installations of Oblivion, so that's 47 GB.

    Text files for me. I have 807,021 .txt files that, if printed out, average around 5 pages. Most of them personal journals, notes, HTML files, help files, converted web pages, old versions of edits I made, giant walls of text I have written, all started from March 3rd 2010. Most of them are drafts for stories and compilations of a tiny pen-and-paper game I made.

    I think I'm using about half of a 320 GB hard drive, which is a pretty standard drive size these days even for a cheapo laptop.

    That said, this doesn't include various things I've stuffed onto an external HD for the purposes of backing stuff up.
