New Belgrade, a pile of concrete sci-fi goodness
I used to hate this part of the city, since I felt uncomfortable among all that concrete and thought that it lacked a soul. But lately I have started to appreciate it a lot more and started to see a peculiar kind of charm in it.
Some nice pics of it.

Indeed.
Someone needs to do a film with that area in the photo as a scence. That or take it as a inspiration for a book that may have a film adaption of it.
If you liked that, you'll probably like this too.
Pretty cool, thanks for sharing.
I really like walking through the city and searching for old, strange or badly maintained places. There's something oddly magnetic about ruins.
Probably the most interesting and mysterious one is a concert stage (built somewhere after WW2) integrated into the walls of a ruined medieval quarry, right in the middle of a heavily wooded forest park. It used to be a very popular stage for various alternative acts, but was literally abandoned some twenty years ago. Urban legends say that it's haunted.
Holy fuck that is awesome.
Note to self: be in Serbia at some point.
Ironweaver,
Adding to what ninjaclown posted, you might get a kick out of Abandoned But Loved too. The person running it tends to feature a lot of photos of abandoned buildings, ruins, and such.
Great links, guys. Thanks.
A very popular tumblr for abandoned stuff is called abandonedporn. Another architecture tumblr y'all might like is architectureofdoom.
