President Obama is doing an AMA on Reddit
Comments
I get the feeling he'll be completely discouraged to go on the internet again. Reddit is just that bad.
. . . Well, I'll be damned.
Oh, and the site is currently going through random outages due to the massive server load.
"an asteroid, Mr. President."
I swear there were a bunch of people just waiting for the president to make a grammar error just to say "I CORRECTED THE PRESIDENT'S GRAMMAR", it's hilarious
Dino Stamatopoulos is also doing one, which I find much more interesting
Eh. It was just a slightly more eloquent rehash of everything we've already heard in the usual campaign ads. He either refused or was prohibited to answer anything remotely difficult.
...I kind of wish Santorum did an AMA. Just to see it horribly backfire on him (either that or see if Reddit throws in any stealth insults)
It doesn't surprise me at all that Obama's answers were simplistic/dodgy, but the amusement, for me, comes more from the fact that the leader of this country hosted a Q&A on the Internet forum that gave us/popularized FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--, among other things. I mean, just the fact that the Internet has already become this powerful and influential is pretty amazing, to me.
I would have asked him whether there's too much yuri pairing in the Nanoha series, but (1) I'm not a Reddit user, and (2) there's no way to force him to answer that question.
I guess I'll just need to troll some other politician's campaign rally.
Shouldn't be hard since I'm now in northern Virginia.
