    Also, worth noting is he said that the moral of The Matrix was that humans were viruses which was actually said by the main villain and you're not supposed to agree with it.

    This is wrong. The electricity that powered those was generated through fossil fuels. In other words, they were being powered indirectly (and thus less efficiently) by fossil fuels.
