The best season.
The weather is cooler, everything smells crisp and fresh and it gets dark earlier making it nice and cosy indoors.

In Australia, many trees are evergreen. When I was a child, though, I lived in a suburb where all the trees went red.
Oh god yes, Autumn is the best.
I can't at all handle warm weather so mid fall is the best season there is to me. Although the silly weather we get here where it's like 5 degrees in the morning and 20-30 from noon to dusk is just murderous.
...Until I get older, in which case I will start dreading each autumn as one year closer to my death...
...Then I'll get REALLY old at which point I'll look forward to it as yet another year of escaping death!
