So much for awesome adventure maps. Takes just ONE Enderman to screw up an epic trap

Huh. The new version keeps running out of memory for me.
  • Which is why I'm sticking with 1.7.3 until a few mods are updated.

^ I did find one mod that turns off their block taking ability. Still messes up adventure maps for most people though (You should NEVER NEED a mod to play an adventure map)

If Notch ever adds adventure mode, I hope he allows the map makers the ability to choose which blocks the player and endermen can move

I'm looking forward to the optifine mod.

Optifine fixes any problems like that which you might have, although there is also a way to make minecraft run with more memory. I have yet to get that working myself.

I don't know why Notch thought that the Endermen were a good idea.

I like them, myself. They're not overly difficult.

^The issue is that they make it hard to mesh creativity with survival, and screw with adventure maps that often require dark spots for mobs to spawn to give a challenge

They're a great idea, just badly executed
