    To what degree were you confused?

    See, this is humorous because degree refers to a term in geometry used to describe the measurement of an angle. We use two meanings of degree in this joke, ("degree" which is synonymous with "magnitude" and "degree" which is the mathematical term used to describe an angle's measurement) which is what makes it humorous or funny.
