Because it was on sale for five bucks. I went downstairs to ask mom permission to use her credit card. (Just a few more days before I don't have to do that all the time.) I came back upstairs...the game wasn't on sale anymore.

I mean, I just bought the game for $10 anyway, but goddamn.

    Buy it and pirate it. That way, you'll get the sale price on average.

    INUH there's a bit of a logical issue there. pirating it after buying it doesn't reduce the price.

    I actually liked a lot of the things in KOTOR2, it's just that the story kinda sucked and it got rather boring in some parts (I'm looking at YOU, 3 hour tutorial trapped on an asteroid).

    Though you may be right about it being better not to play it, though. Whenever I went back to the first one I'd see all the little areas that the second improved on and not be able to unsee them.

    I liked the second one just fine. Although it's not as traditional Star Wars as the first.

    Yeah, apart from the tutorial, I loved KOTOR 2.

    At least KOTOR 1 wasn't rushed for the holiday season and is a complete game, but at least KOTOR 2 isn't Sonic 2006.

    With restoration mods, KOTOR2 is a pretty great game apart from the tutorial (and there are mods to skip that, too.)
