    I actually didn't know of discrimination when it comes to accusations of paedophilia.

    This does remind me of this one Law & Order Criminal Intent episode, where you have this character whom someone else accuses (and quite reasonably so) of being the perpetrator of a murder.  He's a black man and a company executive, who has a grudge against the police, and refuses to cooperate with the detectives at all, lawyering up immediately and giving them a hard time.

    ...but he's actually innocent.  First guy was a nasty (though convincing) liar.
