I really, really want to hate their music. They're misandrists, and they use their music as a vehicle for man-bashing, so it would be only right and just of me to hate it, and hate them.
But here's the thing...I can't. They have creative, catchy tunes, sing with sincere feeling, and are attractive visually and vocally. I just can't bring myself to hate them.
Making it worse is that misogynist songs are so much easier to hate, because they're typically tend to also have generic tunes and lyrics that are obnoxious in additional ways. I mean, contrast:

And yet, I really, really want to hate both songs equally. Because they are equally shitty from the standpoint of someone who supports gender equality. But I can't.

...really? Beyonce may make some unconvincing generalisations about men, as well as chucking in the word 'Independent' into her lyrics and titles every so often, but the closest P!nk has come to to misandry was singing about her divorce.
