Fuck this season. I feel like I just want to die and end this suffering.

Summer is too hot, autumn is somewhat depressing, and winter is too cold.
NO.
NO.
There is nothing optimistic about spring. This season is nothing but MISERY. It's too hot. The brightness exacerbates my allergies.

That said, if it's too hot, blame global warming. Where do you live, by the way?
Especially here in New England, I appreciate it when the days become longer and the weather is no longer in the 40s and I can actually walk around without wearing a jacket.
I'm not that far away from the hottest place on Earth man. DEATH VALLEY.
People tend to complain about autumn depression, well, this one gets spring depression.
This one suspects that it has something to do with not being out of school/college for long yet. For a school year, autumn is a start, ad spring is the finish (with summer being a happy timeless nexus). So it's spring that is an ending, and time for an old mistakes to catch up with you. Spring is when it becomes evident that there is no more time left.
This is part of my interpretation of the "Final Toccata" from the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night soundtrack.
Along with how my undergraduate school carried the nickname "Hell", I compared it to going through Dracula's Castle, and even associated the last two area themes in the Inverted Castle with experiences at school:
* Lost Painting - the melancholy mood, as well as the fact your backtracking a lot through places you've been in the game, remind you of all the experiences you had during your time at this school, and you reflect fondly on them with a sense of tearful nostalgia, that where you are now will not last forever.
* Final Toccata - as you approach the end of the school year, the precious time that you have to catch up on studying you've put off or to turn in work late gradually dwindles, and you can hear the clock of inevitability ticking louder and louder in your soul...just as the music's texture and and rhythm become thicker, you can feel the approaching doom, as often signaled by the rising sun indicating that the entire night has passed and you haven't slept a minute...
That, and it was cool to come up with a wave motion gun that shoots clean down the longest hallway in a 3D platformer game, every five minutes or so, in time with the music.
