Imagine my surprise when I found out Kidz Bop has a German division, and they cover Wincent Weiss and Max Giesinger songs! I mean, it's not 100% necessary but, like, such fun!
Though ngl it feels a bit much to be covering a musician with a style as mature as Max Giesinger.
If they get some Gregor Hagele songs or Luca Hanni songs on here, I'll be all set.
Their path was not smooth.
They could not sustain their image.
They could not relate to their fans.
Also that there was once a Japanese version of Rain (who was also Korean) that went by the name K.
I also learned that Shimizu Shota was once in an embarrassingly adorable R&B boy band.

Basically the entire soundtracks for the modern (2003 onward) Ys games are awesome. I only personally know a few of the games (i.e. basically none of the more recent ones), but here are some highlights:

No lies, even as a person who pays attention to K-Pop, I have also just heard of these guys, but somehow they were on a US tour...???
Anyways, unknown if this is a stunt to gain more appeal amongst the ridiculously plentiful LGBTQ+ K-Pop fans that exist or he's going to get eviscerated/destroyed once they're back in Korea, but I'm pretty sure these guys just became the next BTS, but we'll see.
To me, this is not really on the same level as the ASTRO MoonBin tribute song or the thing where all five NewJeans turned out to be attention-seeking concern trolls, but I feel this is noteworthy to non-K-Pop people as welll.
Obviously since the musicians are the popular in Sweden, there tend to be many repeat offenders including this group which participates semi-often, but never with the same lineup...
As for Eurovision itself, I don't think I've ever heard Ireland do a song that was so "This is extremely Europe".
I do find it different somehow, but I don't quite understand why.
