  • Did you see the OP? I originally made this as a shitpost thread with a title to evoke that very meaning.

But now that it's the main MLP thread, which I didn't expect to happen, I might as well change the category to Media.
  • No rainbow star
Ah, I forgot the OP due to it being buried underneath all the MLP stuff

Maybe you should change the title since the thread has turned into My Little Pony Central
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
    I'm thinking MLP: General.
  • "Fucking Ponies" is at least 20% funnier.
  • What with all the innuendo jokes being made, the title is perfectly accurate.

Might as well keep it and just edit the initial post to clarify that it got un-shitposted into a normal thread early on.
  • Done. Though at this point I'm not sure what that will do.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
This is a cool thing that's going on.

What is the Humble Brony Bundle?

First you need to know about the Humble Indie Bundle.
The Humble Bundles are packs of indie games sold DRM-free at whatever
price you choose to pay, and in the process you distribute some or all
of your payment to charity and the developers, along with a tip to
Humble Bundle, Inc. itself. The ten highest contributors are displayed
prominently on the site during and after the bundle ends.

So, what is the Humble Brony Bundle? A way for bronies to come together
and create a fund to buy one big copy of the Humble Indie Bundle. By
pooling our resources we can easily become one of the top ten
contributors. Spread the word far enough and we could reach number one!

30% goes to Child's Play, 30% goes to EFF, and 30% goes to the indie devs.  They've already got $700+.

So if anyone's got change to blow, it might be a nice thing to donate toward.

    Unrelated:

    I fucking love these comics.

I hope that BUY SOME APPLES becomes the standard curse censor in this fandom.
  • I'm not saying it was muffins, but...

    It was muffins.

    And then suddenly Disgaea.

    Edit: dammit.  Stupid doubled-up URLs.

http://egophiliac.deviantart.com/ made a few of them, so props to him.
  • And it begins with a great big circlejerk of stalking, as all children's shows must.
  • Yeah, I didn't like this one.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.

    Why not?

I thought you didn't even like ponies.

Why does the pony fandom have to produce funny stuff?

I keep having to check this thread for comics, image macros, etc.

The show is meh but the fandom is fun D:
  • @Forzare

No, I just don't like most of the fandom.

I dunno. I thought for a second it might be the season, but then I remembered I liked the Luna one.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
I haven't seen the new episode yet, but I've loved the second season so far.
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
While season two is overall good, I thought this particular episode was one of the weakest.
  • Don't play Minecraft meself, but a bro posted this:

Anyhow, I rather liked this one, even though the moral was jarringly ham-handed even for the usual premise. I sorta liked seeing everyone of the mane cast get into action.

Yeah this one kind of lead ballooned for me.  Dash was an idiot the entire way through instead of getting better, never really learned her lesson and stepped up the right way, and her friends just told us the moral and she was like "LOL OK".

I went on a slight rant here I didn't feel like typing again.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
Someone mentioned it on the Tvt thread but this poster is pretty cool.
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
^That and the remixed Batman theme were the best things in the episode.
  • >Spike writing Rainbow Dash's autobiography
    >"Congratulations, Spike. You're the new Rainbow Dash."
  • Give us fire! Give us ruin! Give us our glory!
Is anyone getting the feeling that Rainbow Dash might be turning into another Bloo?
  • BeeBee
    edited 2011-11-27 15:46:36
Little bit.  The depressing part about that is Bloo was actually played to be an outright jackass and we didn't mind so much that "douchebag" was his default state.  But we've all seen Dash be way better than that.
  • I generally didn't think it was going too far, but it sort of made me cringe a little when the showboating got in the way of actually saving ponies.

Exactly, that was what took it too far for me.  Dash is literally an incarnation of not dicking around about that.  I don't even mind that she blew it and went that far, so much as she never actually did better.

Still, it gave us Perilous Cliff Street, which is a fanwork goldmine.  XD
