The Forum Unification and Contrariety Kommittee
I think we as a whole want to stray from our past, and we no longer want to be labeled as the "thrown out trash of Tv Tropes". The continuation of imported drama, and the reputation of this forum being the graveyard of banned tropers should stop. I've seen countless times where someone longs for independence from The Site That Must Not Be Named, and I have to agree. So I created this.
This Kommittee, and all of it's members, shall ensure the standard of independence from that site, that so many of us desire. We will use this thread to discuss ways in which we can improve both the creativity and independence of the forum, as well as complaints about the importing and exporting of drama that tends to happen.

But we do have such reputation. Well, I do know at least one troper who thinks so.
Anyhow, we don't have many non-tropers, so I suggest viral advertisements and spamming.
2. The Site that Must Not Be Named thing was a one-off joke that is not meant to be said ever again, just to clarify.
I am thinking that adding another category for IJBMer joint activities might be a good idea. I think that in such a category people could set up schedules for playing online games together, work jointly on other projects, or organize things like writing contests and the such. Again, I think that having such a category would probably only make sense if people actually posted there. Obviously, I imagine that other people need to express a willingness to have that category before it could be justified.
I think that either of these ideas might help us become a bit more independent by giving people more things to do here, but of course, that would depend upon other people actually wanting to post in either category.

I definitely agree with this. If there is some other way I could help with this, I would be glad to be of assistance.
actually is true.
But we do have a bunch of ex-tropers of the involuntary kind here. That's actually one of the problem's of IJBM.
On that note, we have a Team Fortress 2 group now.
^^ Fair enough, I didn't mean to say that.
The point is that people have the idea that we are the leftover for banned tropers.
