I am a spoilerhound

There's this novel I'm trying to read without spoiling myself, but I only just barely resist the urge to read the plot summary on TvTropes, and I'm wondering if there's actually any worth in saving myself this way.

Comments

  • What's the novel?
  • Rose Madder. Usually I look up the plots of things to see if I'd like them, but I figure that I've liked most Stephen King books I've read, so this is a fairly safe bet.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
There are no real spoilers on TVTropes, and it has no page anyway, so you'd really have to go out of your way to screw this up.
  • Plot summary is like two or four sentences, but I guess it could have spoilers depending on what you'd consider one.

^^I usually look up the wikipedia page of things I watch/read, and if its a book I'll usually skim the last few chapters before I actually read most of it.

    This is hard.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
^ Well to save you the trouble:

[Soylent Green is people. Bruce Willis is a ghost. Darth Vader is Luke's father. Rosebud was the name of his sled. White Chicks is shit.]
  • I'm a spoiler hound too. I hate that about myself.
  • I always read the ending first.
  • You can change. You can.
I used to be one. Stopped doing that shit with time.
