There's this novel I'm trying to read without spoiling myself, but I only just barely resist the urge to read the plot summary on TvTropes, and I'm wondering if there's actually any worth in saving myself this way.

    Rose Madder. Usually I look up the plots of things to see if I'd like them, but I figure that I've liked most Stephen King books I've read, so this is a fairly safe bet.

    There are no real spoilers on TVTropes, and it has no page anyway, so you'd really have to go out of your way to screw this up.

    ^^I usually look up the wikipedia page of things I watch/read, and if its a book I'll usually skim the last few chapters before I actually read most of it.

    This is hard.
