    Looks like the man was important for you, my condolences. I basically never played any of these three games so it doesn't hit me personally, but yeah, that guy's got a rap sheet.

    I actually don't know any of the games mentioned in that toot personally (I actually played Doom for the first time yesterday, and only played for a few minutes), but Bobby Prince also did the music for the Commander Keen series.

    Ironically, when I played it as a kid, my computer couldn't play the music so I just had PC Speaker sound effects -- though it seems Prince was responsible for those as well, and they were certainly good.

    But later on I found that those games (well, the later ones) actually had music, and among them was a track that became (part of) a meme, basically the unofficial musical theme for the "Dopefish", a silly-looking large green fish with buck teeth that has cameo'd in a variety of games. It only appears in one level in the fourth Commander Keen game, and that level's theme -- the Dopefish's theme, basically -- is "You've Got to Eat Your Vegetables", a track that was originally composed for an unused intro scene concept for a previous Keen game.
