  • It's not like Sonic is any less for kids.

REMEMBER, THERE'S NOTHING MORE COOL THAN BEING HUGGED BY SOMEONE YOU LIKE
  • Yeah, but as far as I've seen his (or "your" if you are Komodin) taste is limited to only a few things.
  • The Sonic Series Wiki Curator of TvTropes
Yeah, but as far as I've seen his (or "your" if you are Komodin) taste is limited to only a few things.

We rarely post in the same threads, as far as TvTropes is concerned.
  • Touche. But I suppose I was more surprised that you were swayed from "loathing" to "it's okay" after seemingly a few minutes of viewing.
  • It's been said that the stronger the hate, the more the pony changes you.

    Which might explain 4chan.
  • (When I made this thread my aim was not to "convert" anyone, if you were wondering. I just think this is a rather stupid complaint, because there is no shortage of things with a big Periphery Demographic/Multiple Demographic Appeal)
  • I make no attempts to hide the fact I love Sonic the Hedgehog games, and that I still play the Sonic Advance series. Same goes with MLP.
  • Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
Why are Komodin's posts in large text?
  • Only the ones where he's quoting someone, it seems.
  • "My sorrow gives you joy?!"

    Yes.
  • Woki mit deim Popo.
    Sadist
  • And you're just now noticing this? Who, me? Of course not. :3
  • Woki mit deim Popo.
You crazy woman, of couse I know.  I think somebody with a furby as avatar that likes to inflict pain on people is just weird and hilarious.
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
Then obviously you don't know jack about Furby. It will not shut up.

ITT: I play Mario too. I must be a little girl.

And no, I have not watched the show. Is there a "Gushing About Shows You Don't Watch"?
  • Praising Shows You Don't Watch

"ITT: I play Mario too. I must be a little girl."

    What the...?

  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
I still have no idea what ITT means.

What I meant to say was that I must be a little kid if I want to play Mario games, in which I was drawing a parallel between that and the stereotype of little girls watching MLP.

I need to work on my sentence construction.
  • ITT means "In this thread"

When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
    Goddamit, that makes perfect sense.

"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed
if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

    -C.S. Lewis

That is a beautiful quote. Given that my dad recently spotted me making a my little pony avatar, it's exactly what I needed.

And he is isn't very *emotionally* grown up by the way, so I suppose I can also be comforted in the hypocrisy.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
It seems all Male Ponyfans have embedded that quote to the essence of their soul, since they always bring it up on other sites I go to.
  • ~♥YES♥~! I *AM* a ~♥cupcake♥~! ^_^
    It's a good quote.

And now, it is part of my very being. C.S. Lewis would've been a brony if he were around today.
  • That just gave me an image.

The Chronicles of Narnia need ponies...

    ...THE CHRONICLES OF EQUESTRIA!

Excuse me while I go post this in the "epic crossovers" thread in YF.

I'm a 40 year old who still loves Dora the Explorer and nobody can call me a child for it!

    Pony Sleuth
I wouldn't call you a child for that. I'd think it'd be kind of weird, but tastes in entertainment alone can't be used to judge maturity.

It can't alone, but it can be a symptom of immaturity. I hate to bring up this card, but could you imagine CWC as a diehard Bones or Dexter fan?

Not to mention that the quote can't apply to MLP because it's designed to have a broader appeal than older MLP shows. You guys feel safe defending it because despite how it looks, it's really not that childish of a show. I brought up Dora the Explorer because there's little in it that could possibly appeal to anyone who isn't stoned a little kid.
