I can't think of anything to start the thread with, or what to edit into people's posts. Reminds me of the time a mod somewhere put "drops [username]'s pants in my post, though.
By the way, would changing my user title to "Mod-oka" be too dumb?
I assume she doesn't use spears, but she looks vaguely like a fusion of Kyouko Sakura and Kanade Amou. Does she at least sing, or spend a lot of time eating?
She's Kanata Shinonome (or Shinonome Kanata if you prefer). No, Kanata doens't use spears; she uses what are basically lightsabers. She also wears her hair untied except for a bowtie, and she doesn't spend a lot of time eating. She does sign though. I haven't seen Symphogear though she seems more similar to Kanade.
Has a little sister named Sonata, so I occasionally complain that her name isn't Cantata.
Okay well, just judging by the picture, she seems to have almost exactly the right amount of tomboyish spunk to be somewhere between Kyouko and Kanade. #readingtoomuchintopictures
Also, this is more because we've had a few cross-site moderation issues before. They're not official full-time (so to speak) mods, but I'm doing this in case issues like those come up again.
For what it's worth (and just to fit further into your conspiracy theory) I'm now a mod at HH as well. :D
Fursecution-type furry, several threads were he mentioned casually punching teachers and knocking his little brother out cold, a please-respond style of posting: he behaved like a bad parody of a troper-but he overshot the mark by typing like Tnu so no-one bothered to read his posts.
To be honest, he stuck with his shtick for long enough that if he were a troll, he should've realized it wasn't working out and try something else. I think he was just weird.
Other things he did: at one point he claimed to be ragequitting, and then someone with a nearby IP tried to make an account. When we confronted him on this, he admitted that it was him, then changed his mind and claimed that it was actually his brother.
I didn't mind the kid's presence all that much. He needed improvement, no question, but he didn't once appear to me as a Chagen waiting to happen. I messaged him myself to give him the rundown on this place just in case he somehow did.
In addition to the huge amount of questionable behavior he showed on the forum proper, there was also a lot of stuff that was mostly visible to/noticeable by the mods. For example, between the three or more accounts he tried to register before the ban and the three more he's tried to register since, not one has had a valid email address. And they were all invalid in the same way, despite his claims that the two alts he tried to register pre-ban weren't the same person.
I vaguely recall there being a person named sadpanda on TVT when I was there.
If you wanted to be absolutely sure, there is a tool on TVT that you can use in conjunction with a certain exploit to see all the accounts he's ever made there.
CU's banned him, hence his comment above. GMH let him on, but then the rest of us (or, the Eva-INUH-Forz clone trio, at least) decided that was a bad idea.
Holiest shit, what was he doing here? It wouldn't surprise me if he had decided to google his username and whine on any site which mentioned him in a negative light.
GMH's original intention for the site was to let everyone, even the crazies, have at least one chance to state their cases, if they feel they've been wronged, and felt that the ban should come if they just cause trouble. Some of the other mods think it's good in theory, but feel that there are some cases where nothing good could possibly come out of it. Case in point.
