That said, the international opening theme is extremely awesome.
There was once a video that had like fifteen languages' worth of said theme, in a medley. It's since been taken down, sadly.
Pokemon is just about the only thing from my childhood that I haven't gone back and revisited.
That said, the first opening is always awesome.
I also remember singing basically the TV version of "My Best Friends" to some friends in high school. One of them apparently really liked it.
I still want to play this in marching band one day.

I've just been listening back at some of these early-seasons tracks.
This brings back memories of my wishing for some sort of totally ultimate awesome Pokémon game in which you'd get the TV show remixes of the various battle themes when fighting certain really important or cool trainers.
