a little muffled
With the mighty Steel Wolf clan behind her, Anastasia Kerensky plans to seize the planet Northwind, but Ezekial Crow and Tara Campbell are prepared to repel her invasion-and decide the fate of a world.

It shows up on a whole bunch of websites, including the Toronto Public Library's. I haven't read the book yet, but somehow I suspect it's not quite accurate.

    ^It all takes place on Earth, for starters (unless you count the Nevernever, which is a sort of magical alternate dimension, and the areas shown are the ones that overlap with Earth)

    I seems to actually be a summary of a BattleTech novel called A Silence in the Heavens. Jeez, I'd assumed it was at least another book called Death Masks...

    Death Masks, for the uninitiated, is the one where Wizard-Private Detective Harry Dresden fights a group of fallen angels who want to start a plague across the entire world.
