If you use an @yahoo.com email or any related Yahoo services, they have blocked us also due to "user complaints"

Uh, people on the interwebs use asterisk-delimited text to indicate actions, not emphasis.  Emphasis is indicated by underscore delimitation.

    Using asterisks for bold is an ancient email convention. Lots of IRC clients do it, too. IRC has /me for the equivalent of the other use of asterisks, anyway. I don't know if gchat has an equivalent.
